Vector Logos & Artwork

Vector files allow your logo to be printed at the highest possible quality and resolution. The most common vector file formats include:

The biggest difference between vector files and common web formats (JPG, GIF, PNG) is print quality. Vector files can be scaled extremely large or very small from business cards to billboards or vehicle wraps and still look perfect. They print in high definition with crisp, sharp edges every time.

Web files or photos pulled from places like Instagram will print grainy and have soft, fuzzy edges. We can create basic concepts using low-resolution web images, but our ability to enhance backgrounds or adjust elements is very limited.
For the best possible label proof, please provide vector files they allow us to deliver sharp, professional, high-quality results.

If you don’t have access to a vector file, don’t worry. For a small fee, we can recreate your logo as a vector file. Once the vectorization is complete, we’ll not only create your label concept but also provide the vector logo file for all your future marketing projects.

In most cases, the designer who created your logo provided a set of files — some of which may not open or display on your computer. No problem! Simply forward them to us and we’ll sort through everything for you. Or, if you’re still in touch with your designer, you can ask them to send the vector logo files directly.

For anyone searching online for “free vector file converters,” we can save you some time those tools don’t actually work. They simply place a low-resolution web image inside a vector file container, which still results in poor print quality. In the end, our artists will still need to recreate the artwork properly.

High Resolution Photos

Please provide photos at 240–300 dpi (dots per inch). If you’re sending images from a mobile device, be sure not to select “optimize for email/web.” We need the raw, high-resolution version of the photo for best print quality.

Can’t you just use a photo from my website?

Unfortunately, no. Images pulled from websites are low resolution (72–96 dpi) and will print very fuzzy.

What if I don’t have any photos available?

We have several options. First, we can use a full-color background or keep the label background white for a clean, modern look. Second, you can choose a vector background or high-resolution stock image from one of many online providers. These images typically cost around $20 or may even be free, depending on the source.

Submitting Artwork

Please ensure all art assets are fully embedded in the artwork file before submitting.

Font Outline (Convert to Paths)

We need your fonts to be outlined so the formatting and styling remain consistent when the file is opened on our system.

If using illustrator, please make sure you convert your fonts to paths.

Select -> All

Type -> Create Outlines

File -> Save.

Can I remove the bottling contents and source info?

You’re welcome to change the font of the FDA-required source and contents information to match your brand. However, the font size must remain the same to ensure it meets readability requirements.

When submitting artwork, please ensure that the legally required Federal and State Source and Contents information is included.
