How do you ship bottled water?
Our shipments are typically sent on 48″ x 40″ wooden pallets and transported via freight carriers. The size is similar to a standard home refrigerator, and a full pallet can weigh up to 2,000 lbs. Thanks to our high shipping volume, we receive special negotiated freight rates savings we pass directly on to you to keep shipping as affordable as possible.

How do I place a re-order?
If we already have your artwork on file, repeat orders are incredibly easy. Just give us a call or send a quick message, and we’ll start your custom-labeled water order right away. It’s that simple.
We securely store all details from your previous order, allowing us to reproduce your exact custom-labeled bottles with no extra setup costs. In many cases, you’ll even enjoy additional savings on follow-up orders.
How soon can I receive my water bottles?
Our team moves quickly. Once your label artwork is approved, first-time personalized water bottle orders are typically completed in 3–4 weeks. Reorders ship within 10–12 business days, and recurring orders can be ready in as little as 7–10 days sometimes even sooner.
Depending on your distance from our bottling plants and warehouse facilities, delivery may occur as early as the next day or within up to 4 days after production.
We keep you fully informed throughout the process and provide tracking details as soon as your custom-labeled bottled water ships.
What information do you need for my custom label design?
- Your logo — preferably in a vector format (PDF, EPS, or AI)
- High-resolution photos or artwork (300 DPI)
- Brand colors, guidelines, and fonts
- Any text you want included — such as phone number, website, address, business license, slogan, etc.
Are logos and photos saved from the internet acceptable?
No images saved from the internet will print fuzzy, grainy, or “pixelated.” Web images are designed to load quickly online, which means they use lower resolution and fewer color details. Print-quality artwork, on the other hand, includes higher resolution, richer colors, and clean, sharp edges.
High-quality artwork is typically created in vector formats such as AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF. If needed, we can also vectorize (recreate) your logo to ensure it prints cleanly and clearly. Just let us know!
How many colors can I have on my label?
We can print every color in the rainbow at no extra cost. In technical terms, we use full-color CMYK printing. If you need us to match a specific brand color, please provide the PMS code and we’ll match it as closely as possible.
How can I make my own water bottle labels?
The first step in creating your custom water bottle label is to download our label template. Once you have it, you can begin adding your content, placing your text, and adjusting colors.
Most of the labels we print include a combination of elements such as a company name or logo, website URL, phone number, address, slogan, or promotional message.
Can you private label water?
Yes! At Custom Water, we are true experts in private-label bottled water. Over the past 22 years, we’ve produced tens of millions of custom water projects from individuals testing product ideas to car dealerships, churches, banks, mortgage offices, casinos, hotels, resorts, special events, political campaigns, and even grocery and department store chains launching their own bottled water brands.
Can you design a water bottle?
Yes, absolutely. You can send us your logo, information, and brand colors, and we’ll design a custom water bottle label for you. Or, if you prefer, you can download our free label template and create the design yourself.

What type of paper do you use for custom water bottle labels?
We use a durable polymer (plastic) material for most of our labels. If low cost is your main priority, we can also produce labels using paper or semi-gloss paper with a protective coating.
How do you make a waterproof water bottle label?
The key to creating a waterproof label is printing on a poly or plastic material — which is what we use for most projects at Custom Water. While plastic labels may cost slightly more than paper, they’re a worthwhile investment for durability, appearance, and overall product quality.
Water-resistant (gloss-coated paper) or standard paper labels tend to saturate when submerged in water or ice, often leaving ink or paper residue on your hands. For best results, bottles with paper labels should be kept on countertops and away from moisture.
Which software should I use to create a water bottle label?
If you’re unable to design a label no worries. Simply send us your logo and information, and we’ll handle the entire label layout for you. Once the design is ready, we’ll send you a virtual label proof for review and approval.
If you’d like to create your own water bottle label, you have several great options. Many of our clients design their labels using Adobe Illustrator, which is ideal because it produces vector artwork the best format for sharp, clean, high-quality printing. Other design tools you can use include Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, or the online platform Canva.com.
Do you sell the labels by themselves?
Not anymore. We found that many clients were purchasing our high-quality labels and trying to apply them to the thin, low-quality bottles typically bought at Costco or Walmart. After seeing the results and the time it took most clients ended up calling us back to have the labels applied to our bottles instead. Can you find someone who will sell labels only? Sure. Is it worth it? That depends on your time and the quality you’re willing to accept. However, it’s not something we recommend.
How much does it cost to customize a water bottle?
Custom-labeled bottled water typically costs between $0.25 and $0.48 per bottle. Pricing varies based on the quantity ordered — the more you purchase at once, the lower your cost per bottle.
How do you put a brand on a water bottle?
To place your brand on a water bottle, simply email us your logo and information. We’ll create several label concepts for you and your team to review. Once approved, we’ll begin the order and bottling process.
How do you print your name on a water bottle?
Brand names and logos are printed on custom labels, which are then applied to the bottles. You can design the label yourself, or we can create it for you. Once the design is approved, we print and apply the labels, then ship the finished bottled water directly to you. When your order arrives, the bottles are ready to drink, sell, or give away.
